Frequently asked questions

What does the AI Prompt Helper do?
You describe the video, presentation, or lesson you want to create. The helper sends a structured brief to Vidsembly's AI service and returns a reusable prompt you can paste into another AI chat tool to generate the full script or outline.
Is the AI Prompt Helper free?
Yes. The tool is free with no account or card required. Each visitor can run a limited number of generations per day so the service stays available for everyone.
Is my creative brief uploaded?
Your brief is sent securely to Vidsembly's server so we can call the AI model. It is used only to generate your prompt for that request. We do not use your text to train public models, and you should avoid pasting passwords, private customer data, or other sensitive secrets.
How many prompts can I generate per day?
You can generate up to three prompts per day with this tool, and up to ten AI generations per day across all Vidsembly AI tools on the site. Limits reset at midnight UTC.
Which AI tools can I use with the generated prompt?
The output is plain text designed for ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, or internal team workspaces. Copy the prompt, paste it into your preferred tool, then iterate on the draft it returns.
What content goals are supported?
Choose video script, presentation or slide deck, short-form social video, or training lesson. Each goal adjusts the structure, pacing, and section headings in the generated prompt.
Can I specify audience, tone, and runtime?
Yes. Add audience and platform fields, pick a tone preset, and optionally set a target duration in minutes. Use the must-include box for CTAs, product names, compliance notes, or talking points the downstream AI should respect.

About this tool

Start with a brief, not a blank chat box

Generic AI chats often produce vague scripts because the instructions were vague. The AI Prompt Helper turns your topic, audience, and constraints into a detailed prompt with sections, pacing notes, and guardrails. You stay in control of the creative brief while the helper handles prompt structure.

Match prompts to the deliverable

A YouTube explainer, a slide deck, a TikTok hook, and a training lesson need different outlines. Pick the content goal that matches your deliverable so the generated prompt asks for scenes, slides, beats, or learning objectives in the right format.

Set tone and runtime before you generate

Tone presets nudge the downstream AI toward professional, friendly, energetic, or educational language. Optional duration fields help you request a realistic length for webinars, classroom segments, or short social clips. Combine tone and runtime with audience notes so the prompt fits how you actually present.

Reuse prompts across your stack

The helper outputs a single block of text you can save in Notion, share with producers, or paste into multiple AI tools. Teams can standardize briefs for product launches, course modules, or client explainers without rewriting instructions from scratch each week.

Fair daily limits for shared AI capacity

Server-side generation keeps API keys private and applies daily limits per visitor. That protects the free tier from abuse while still giving creators, teachers, and marketers enough room to draft real projects. Limits reset daily in UTC.
